π³ Resource 4: Nature Immersion
Reconnect with yourself in a natural environment with this ancient invitation to sit or walk with a question.
Nature offers us a unique kind of support β a living, breathing space where we can exhale, soften and reconnect with something larger than ourselves. It invites us into stillness, into movement, into relationship. It reflects things back to us that we might not see on our own. But most importantly, there is a sense of resting into belonging. Nature doesn't ask anything of you (forget about 'gardening', that's something else entirely!)
This practice, drawn from shamanic and intuitive lineages, invites you to walk (or sit) with a clear question, and let nature be your guide. Itβs also known as a medicine walk β an ancient invitation in which the outer world becomes a mirror for your inner landscape. You can take 20 minutes, similar to your other practices, or as long as you like.
Youβll find specific suggestions below, including different ways to engage, whether you walk, sit or listen to nature from indoors.
Whether you follow the steps exactly, or let your intuition guide you, remember: This is supposed to be a resource, so let it nurture you in the way that is needed for you right now. It can be a practice of shifting your attention, opening your imagination and resting into a mutual relationship. As always, there is no right or wrong way to do this β listen to what calls you.
