7 Eostre’s Awakening (21 April 2025)
On Easter Monday, we move with the pagan Goddess Eostre, or Ostara, whose imagery influenced the later Christian tradition. She is associated with the dawn, and brings renewal, rebirth and the stirring of life after the stillness of winter. Symbols connected to her include hares (fertility, intuition, moon-magic), eggs (potential, creation, mystery), and the rising sun. Her energy is youthful, vibrant, and full of possibility – the rising sap, budding trees, first flowers and morning light. Together these weave an atmosphere of feminine mystery and playfulness.
We do the following movements:
White Rabbit (Wave) Breathing
Greeting the Sunrise in the East
Spiralling Greening power (derived from Lifting the Water, Pouring the Qi)
Hare’s Ears Listening (Shoulder Roll)
Hare bounce (with tailbone awareness)
Hare hops (let the bounce develop into little jumps if appropriate)
Embrace the wind Caressing the Moon
Moon Rabbit Stirring the Elixir
Luminous Egg
