Clearing, Recharging & Protecting for Spaceholders
Clear, Recharge & Protect offers a series of movements for your toolkit rather than a regular routine. I've designed it specifically for those who hold space for others, as therapist, healer, coach, teacher or bodyworker for example, but of course these tools work for any situation with strong or charged emotions.
The video goes through three phases of Clearing, Recharging and Protecting, with each offering four example movements. Choose the movements that are most supportive for your day. In general, a good rule of thumb is to clear first so you release emotional residue and overload. When you 'recharge' next, the nourishing energy can truly land. Protect last to strengthen your energetic space and boundaries. But you can mix and match, for example if you feel calm and centred at the beginning of your day, you might only need to do a movement for protection. Between clients you might simply do 1 or 2 movements to clear energy residue. Or if you feel empty between clients and you need to resource and ground yourself, choose that. Make it your own! You can also add any flowing movement that you like from other class routines, to get back in the zone. I personally love Cloudy Hands for this!
