Seated Routines

Four gentle seated Qi Gong Routines of 30 minutes each. Great to move your life force if you can't stand too long or have little energy. It gives an idea of different 'tastes' within a qi gong class. When you feel confident you can always join the Moving Mystic Membership, which has a similar gentleness and can easily be adapted to being seated.

Circulate Your Creative Sexual Energy

The Microcosmic Orbit is an ancient practice that remained secret until the 1960s. It helps you to actively circulate life force energy through energy centres along your spine and front channel including centres for intuition, communication, emotional expression, will power, and sexuality or creativity. Wrists and Hands

This 75 minute seated workshop takes you through a detailed hands and wrists Qi Gong routine specifically designed for painful joints and fingers. It includes self massage, activation, mobilising and carefully stretching the joints. You also learn about the difference between activation and relaxation. We complete with flowing movements and a meditation. Divided in 9 shorter videos so you can easily pick and mix.

Oiling the Joints

Oiling the Joints is a regular practice in Qi Gong, to optimise the energy flow through the joints. It prevents or alleviates problems that occur from lack of use, including arthritic conditions and stiffness that can occur with ageing. This is a strong workout of 90 rather than 75 minutes, clearly labeled into smaller sections for different body parts, so you can pick and mix to adapt to your time, body and energy.

Love Your Body

This (largely seated) workshop creates an atmosphere of tender-loving self care through various Qi Gong techniques. Starting with self massage and activating the meridians or energy lines in your body, you then create space in the muscles and joints through flowing and stretching movements. The standing part focuses on nurturing your heart, and the workshop completes with "a Love Letter to your Body" Meditation.

This workshop is for people who live with chronic health conditions and regularly experience pain and exhaustion. It gives you ways to keep moving, even if you are feeling really low. It includes movements to boost energy and release headaches. Engage your imagination, and learn to draw on the strength of the earth, nature and the universe with the Swimming Dragon Flow. Divided in shorter videos for easy access.

Strengthen Your Core

In this workshop you learn how to guide and direct energy using Tao Yin practice, the most ancient form of Qi Gong that also informs martial arts techniques. With strengthening, flowing and stretching movements you build strength and suppleness in your legs, abdomen and lower back. It includes standing, seated and laying down routines which you can do in one sequence or pick and mix as you like.
