... Seal Woman comes to shore one night. In human form she dances with her sisters on the rocks. As they prepare to return to the ocean, their home, she realises that her pelt is missing. It was taken by a lone hunter, who asks Seal Woman to become his wife. She agrees to stay with him and bears him a child, while her skin stays hidden. Over the years she starts to dry out, lose her vitality and become ill...

👉🏿 When is the workshop?

25 -27 July 2025

The timings are likely 

  • Friday 25/7: 6pm registration, 7-10pm workshop

  • Saturday 26/7: 10am-10pm 

  • Sunday 27/7 10am-4pm

Commitment to ALL sessions is essential.

👉🏾 Where is the workshop?

Venue will be somewhere in Birmingham B19 postcode area.

It is non residential, so you will need to arrange your own overnight accommodation.

👉🏽 Why is the payment in euros while the workshop happens in London?

This is awkward, I know! It has to do with my website, which only supports one currency. As most of my work happens on mainland Europe, Euros is the currency that my website accepts.

You should be able pay easily with a credit or debit card, which makes the transfer to euros without problem.

However, if this is an issue for whatever reason, please email me, and I can send you the details of a UK bank account instead. 

👉🏼 I've never done this kind of dancing before, is that a problem?

Not at all. I believe there is a dancer in each and everyone of us, and I've guided many people who'd never danced before. Step by step, I will invite you into the movement exploration. Each dance reflects your unique expression and experience so you can never get it wrong!

👉🏻 What if I'm too shy to participate?

I know this work is intensely personal and intimate, but you will be surprised how deep we can go with a circle of committed women. We take it one step at a time, and of course you are in the 'driver's seat' and decide how deep you want to go.

👉🏾 I'd really like to come, but I can't afford it, can I get a discount?

Yes, I hear you. If the early bird discount, coming with a friend or paying in instalments still doesn't feel feasible, please be in touch.

There are a few bursary places and one free place available in exchange for practical support before and during the workshop. Please email me if you'd like to discuss this.
